Meet the Brewmaster
When Josh joined the team, he wanted to shake things up a bit. He dusted off the old test-batch system and went to work developing a double dry-hopped IPA that became an instant smash hit. Though he could have ridden the wave of success, he jumped back in and is developing such beers as the upcoming Peanut Butter & Jelly Sour.
Josh grew up in Charleswood and became interested in brewing beer while at university. He began home brewing and eventually went to Olds College in Alberta where he received a diploma in Brewmaster & Brewery Operations Management.
I still very much believe in the Brut IPA style, little bit niche but a dry but bright IPA is just incredible when done right. Test batches have been a little slow but I’ve been trying out some new hop varietals to make a unique IPA, latest batch revealed a new hop that might actually be perfect for a Brut.
