“Legends never die.” For some people, the old saying means that singular stories are immortal, written in stone. At Fort Garry Brewing, we know that legends never die because they’re constantly being retold, reshaped, and remade — passed down through generations and true to their roots.
That’s how we brew beer. We don’t “craft” it based on some legend — we’re living the legend. We’re pioneers of craft brewing in Manitoba, and we make beer the same way we’ve been making it for 90 years. Sure, the copper kettles are gone, and the steam heat is now electric, but from our humble beginnings in a small Market Street warehouse to our current state-of-the-art facility, we’ve never strayed from our microbrewery tradition.
Our entire history has been about one thing: brewing the best, most flavourful, easy-drinking beer in Manitoba. We’re beer fans just like you, which is why we’re dedicated to great flavours that satisfy and expand all palates — whether that’s our endless pursuit of the perfect, clean, pure-tasting lager or creating scintillating, bold new flavours. We’ll continue to do what we do best, because our passion is brewing the best-tasting beer for the most loyal beer drinkers in the country.
